This soccer team is powered by these five words: commitment, honesty, loyalty, respect and teamwork.   In order for this team to be successful, both the players and the parents need to believe in these words.  Coach Ivan R Medellin.

No one individual player is more important than the entire Team.  We PLAY as a team, we WIN as a team and LOSE as a team, let’s have fun and leave it all out there. Coach Ivan R Medellin

Mia Hamm once said. “I am a member of a team and I rely on the team, I defer to it and sacrifice for it, because the “Team”…not the individual is the “ultimate” champion.”

Heather O-Reilly said before the 2008 Olympics Gold game. “The Americans will have, well, each other. “I love this team.” O’Reilly said. “We care about each other. We’re going to kill for the person next to us on the field, and you’ve got to like the chances of a team that feels that way. “Bring it on.”

A.J Smith San Diego Chargers G.M said. Good teams find ways to win; bad teams find ways to lose. It sounds simple, but it’s a truism that repeats itself week after week. Losing, like winning, can become habit-forming. It’s right there under the skull.

“Most people mistake speed and skill for talent. Real talent STARTS with energy, drive, work ethic and the will to win. Without these attributes, a player can never be great.”  Allen Fox, author of the Winner’s Mind.
